Quick Technology reported on November 18 that as the Tesla model that Musk is most satisfied with, he has not hesitated to publicly praise Cybertruck many times.
Recently, when appearing on a podcast, Musk described the Cybertruck as "alien technology" and said that its design combines huge size and amazing speed, "like an elephant running as fast as a cheetah."
Musk also talked about the original intention of the car's design, saying that it seemed radical and stemmed from foreseeing extreme possibilities.
He said: "I hope to have a bulletproof truck that can withstand subsonic projectiles, which is cool, because if the doomsday really comes, then such a vehicle will be a necessity."
With this idea, designers have raised durability to an unprecedented strategic level, which also explains why Cybertruck uses a pioneering solution such as a super-hard stainless steel exoskeleton.
In order to realize this vision, Musk has set three core goals for Cybertruck.
The first is the bulletproof capability; secondly, the acceleration performance must surpass the sports car benchmark Porsche 911; and finally, the towing capacity must surpass the diesel version of the heavy-duty pickup truck Ford F350.
He once again emphasized an amazing test result: "When the Cybertruck tows a Porsche 911, it still runs a quarter mile faster than the 911 itself."
