Quai Technology reported on November 18 that today, Weibo announced its third quarter results for 2025.

In the third quarter, Weibo’s net income was US$442 million, net profit attributable to the parent company was US$221 million, and non-GAAP operating profit was US$132 million.

Weibo’s advertising revenue this quarter was US$375 million, and advertising and marketing revenue from Alibaba was US$45.5 million, an increase of 112% from US$21.5 million in the same period last year.

In terms of users, as of the end of the third quarter, Weibo’s monthly active users reached 578 million, and daily active users reached 257 million.

In the third quarter of 2025, Weibo data showed that a total of 60,500 hot searches were generated, and the categories accounted for 38% of entertainment categories, 29% of social categories, and 33% of vertical interest categories.

It is worth noting that in the third quarter, Weibo Smart Search MAU exceeded 70 million, DAU and search volume increased by more than 50% month-on-month, and Weibo search total search volume increased by 20% month-on-month.

In terms of advertising products, Weibo’s AI capabilities in the third quarter have penetrated the entire process from advertising material production, bidding model optimization to delivery effect improvement.

As of the end of September, AI material consumption accounted for 21% of Weibo’s performance advertising.
